Safety Steward (Construction)

Job Title: Safety Steward Reports to: Safety Officer Location: Vile Parle Job Summary: We are seeking a Safety Steward to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment on our project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and report on site safety conditions, identifying potential hazards and risks - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies - Assist in developing and implementing site-specific safety plans and procedures - Provide safety training and awareness to site personnel - Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions - Collaborate with site personnel to promote a safety-first culture Requirements: - Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, or related field - Minimum 2 years of experience in construction safety - Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards - Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in occupational health and safety (ADIS / IOSH / NEBOSHIGC) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Education: Diploma (Required) Experience: minimum: 2 years (Required) Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Required) Work Location: In person
