Making things that can fly is a hard thing. But when it flies it feels like freedom. We want freedom of going to other galaxies. Cannot stay tied up by cage of gravity. And to achieve interstellar travel in this century itself, major inventions and discoveries are needed. That won't happen without taking out of the ordinary experimental DIY approach. Responsibilities Experiment and Prototype DIY rockets and propulsion systems. Research and find new ways to make affordable, safe and efficient rocket fuels. Analyse collected data to refine and iterate experimental design of rocket. Come up with unconventional methods of making low cost, safe and reusable components. Qualifications Deep foundational knowledge of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Hands-on experience with experimental design, CAD, fabrication and prototyping.
