Risk- Associate-Liquidity Risk

Your responsibilities will also include the development and implementation of governance frameworks and policies designed to control the firm's accrual rates risk. You will actively monitor risk-taking and limit utilization , engaging in breach remediation and escalation workflows when necessary. A significant aspect of this role involves direct engagement with Corporate Treasury and risk-taking businesses . This will entail understanding their strategies, assessing new activities, enforcing limits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and challenging proposals to maintain sound risk management practices. Furthermore, you will periodically engage with regional regulators to articulate the firm's risk posture, clarify rule interpretations, respond to analysis and data requests, and support advocacy discussions. Skills and Relevant Experience Less than 4 years of experience in banking or capital markets , with a preference for experience in Treasury or a Treasury oversight function. Strong academic background and quantitative skills . Keen interest in financial markets and risk management , driven by a motivation for continuous learning and improvement. Ability to work independently , form your own judgments and opinions, provide valuable insights, and drive change. Proactive approach coupled with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships remotely. Ability to interact with and build relationships with individuals from different departments and levels of seniority. Strong verbal and written communication skills . Prior knowledge of liquidity risk or interest rate risk metrics is preferred . This includes metrics such as Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Internal stress testing, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), and Economic Value of Equity (EVE).
