Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead South Region sales operations for Compressors (Screw, Reciprocating, and Centrifugal). The ideal candidate will drive business growth, ensure revenue and profitability targets, and build a high-performing sales team to expand market presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership

    : Lead and drive sales performance for Screw, Reciprocating, and Centrifugal Compressors, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability (top-line and bottom-line) goals.
  • Business Expansion

    : Strategize and implement plans to grow market share in the South region, collaborating with regional sales, marketing, and proposal teams.
  • Revenue & Collections Management

    : Oversee collection efficiency, reduce outstanding receivables, and coordinate with the contracts team for seamless project execution.
  • Team Development & Leadership

    : Mentor and develop regional and head office sales teams through training, motivation, and performance management to improve market penetration and business outcomes.
  • Key Account & Dealer Management

    : Build strong relationships with key customers and oversee dealer identification, onboarding, development, and performance management.
  • Technical Expertise

    : Provide expert knowledge in compressor selection, sizing, and application engineering to support sales initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting

    : Analyze sales trends, prepare Monthly Review Meeting (MRM) reports, and identify business growth opportunities through data-driven insights.
  • After-Sales Support

    : Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing post-sales service operations and support activities in the region.

Core Competencies & Skills

  • Compressor Expertise

    : In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Reciprocating, Centrifugal, and Screw Compressor systems.
  • Sales & Business Development

    : Demonstrated success in industrial equipment sales, key account handling, and dealer/channel partner management.
  • OEM & Channel Management

    : Proven ability to build and nurture OEM relationships and manage distribution/channel networks.
  • Territory Management

    : Strong command over territory development strategies, segment-based sales planning, and regional market expansion.
  • Techno-Commercial Acumen

    : Skilled in pricing strategy, technical sales presentations, and solution-based selling approaches.
  • Industry Background

    : Prior experience in Compressors, Pumps, Turbines, or similar capital equipment domains is highly desirable.
