Job Responsibility
We are looking to hire an experienced and driven Regional Manager East, based in Kolkata, to lead sales and business growth across East and North-East India. The role focuses on expanding our AV Dealer/Cinema network, achieving sales targets, and strengthening our market presence.
Key responsibilities include conducting regular market visits, building strong relationships with partners, and collecting market intelligence. The Regional Manager will analyze regional trends and competitor activities to refine and execute effective sales strategies. The role also involves preparing detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, in-depth regional market knowledge, and a proven track record in sales and dealer network management.
- Drive business development and achieve sales targets across East and North-East regions: Take ownership of sales growth and business expansion in assigned territories by identifying new market opportunities, onboarding new clients or partners, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop, manage, and expand the AV Dealer/Cinema network: Build a strong network of authorized dealers and cinema partners to increase market penetration. Ensure consistent communication, training, and support to enhance dealer performance and brand representation.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor activity, build relationships, and gather market intelligence: Frequently visit key markets to assess sales activities, strengthen partnerships, and understand on-ground challenges. Collect valuable insights on customer behaviour, partner feedback, and emerging local trends.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies proactively: Stay informed about regional market developments and competitors moves. Use this information to refine sales strategies, adjust product positioning, and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sales performance, projections, and regional developments. Present actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Qualification and Skills Required

Education:
MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred. Candidates with strong field experience in relevant industries may also be considered. -
Experience:
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the furniture, consumer durables, or related industry. -
Leadership:
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive performance, motivate teams, and manage channel partners effectively. -
Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams, dealers, and stakeholders across regions. -
Mobility:
Willingness to travel extensively
