R&D-NPD Engineer in Power Electronics (UPS, Inverter, Solar)

Position:

Job Summary:

R&D Engineer

Technical Expertise Required:

• Hands-on experience in

  Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

  ,

  Online UPS

  , and

  PV Inverter design

• Knowledge of

  interaction between Inverters, PV modules, BESS, and the grid

• Ability to perform

  root cause analysis

  and provide corrective action solutions

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Simulation and analysis of

   inverter control logic

   with PV, Battery, and grid connectivity
2. Experience in

   PCB design

   ,

   thermal management

   , and

   temperature rise calculations

3. Strong knowledge of

   communication protocols and interface architecture

4. Expertise in

   inverter modes of operation

   and

   hardware development

   for various applications
5. Define and select

   BOM components

   , ensure

   regulatory compliance

   , and evaluate system-level suitability
6. Lead

   root cause investigations

   and provide timely engineering solutions
7. Design and test

   power electronics circuits

   including

   inverters, stabilizers (up to 50kVA)

   , and

   thyristor/IGBT-based converters

8. Review and analyze

   technical specifications

   , vendor proposals, and hardware design documentation
9. Carry out

   hardware verification and validation

   in real-time applications
10. Identify

    technical enhancements

    and drive

    innovation in product design

11. Involved in

    testing and commissioning

    of

    servo/static stabilizers

    and

    solar charge controllers

    (up to 100A, 240V+)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or B.Tech in

  Electronics & Communication

  ,

  Electrical Engineering

  , or related field

• 5 years of hands-on experience

  in:
• Power electronics and inverter/converter design
  
• Solar energy systems and BESS integration
  
• Testing and commissioning of power conditioning equipment
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with compliance standards (CE, IEC, BIS, etc.)
  
• Experience in

  simulation tools

  like MATLAB/Simulink or PSIM
• Strong documentation and communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
