Quality Assurance Tester

As a Quality Assurance Tester (QAT) at Solveda, your primary responsibility will be to test eCommerce applications at the user level. You will be conducting manual testing as well as utilizing automated tools to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications. As an individual contributor, you should be capable of handling tasks independently from start to finish while following provided guidance. Your role will involve a thorough understanding of the features, components, and detailed functional requirements of the applications. With some guidance, you will develop test cases, execute tests, and report on your findings with a high standard of quality. You should be technically proficient in using software and computers, and have the potential to progress towards running automated scripts, analyzing failures, and providing support for automation efforts when necessary. In addition to your testing responsibilities, you will be expected to collaborate with developers and other testers, maintain a healthy test environment, and suggest improvements to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and testing tools. Your ability to troubleshoot software discrepancies, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate issues when needed will be key to your success in this role. The Solveda QA team is seeking dynamic and detail-oriented individuals with strong technical skills to join as QATs. You will play a crucial role in executing tests on Solveda's applications and services, both manually and through automation. Your tasks will include troubleshooting using debug settings, sharing detailed bug reports, analyzing failures, and accurately reporting any issues that arise. You will also be encouraged to propose enhancements, maintain the test environment, and provide regular updates on test progress. To excel in this role, you should have experience in test execution, error identification, and quality assurance methodologies. Strong analytical skills are essential for evaluating results and ensuring product quality. Proficiency in manually testing websites and applications, as well as excellent communication and reporting abilities, will be advantageous. Experience in remote work and collaboration with cross-functional teams is preferred, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus. If you have the ability to run automated smoke test scripts, analyze failures, and support automation efforts, it will be considered a strong advantage. Familiarity with Java-based automation and user-level automation tools like Selenium/Web Driver, as well as knowledge of content management systems such as HCL Commerce, Magento, or Salesforce, will also be beneficial for this position.,
