Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at OutThink, you will be part of a high performing agile engineering squad, playing a crucial role in building and delivering the groundbreaking SaaS Cybersecurity Human Risk Management Platform. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to define good testing practices, participating in Agile activities, working closely with software engineers and DevOps engineers, building test automation frameworks, performing manual testing when necessary, investigating complex issues, reviewing user interfaces for consistency, defining acceptance criteria for tests, and advocating for overall product quality and testing. To succeed in this role, you should possess a great attitude with a sense of urgency and risk tolerance, proven academic or other excellence, 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer preferably in a digital (SaaS) product environment, expertise in automated testing tools such as Selenium, hands-on experience with building test frameworks, proficiency in manual testing, test organization, and test execution, understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release approval processes, knowledge of BDD/TDD principles, and a collaborative working style with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, you should have a deep interest in new technology and innovation, the ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly, and intrinsic motivation to contribute to building a world-class product and share the start-up vision at OutThink.
