Build and maintain complex network topologies (physical and virtual) for testing environments, including configuration of switches, routers, and test equipment. Test and validate core networking features such as VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.), ACLs, QoS, link aggregation, and failover mechanisms in a SONiC environment. Evaluate and ensure compatibility of Open SONiC with vendor switches through testing, integration, and troubleshooting. Conduct performance and scalability tests, including throughput, latency, and stability benchmarks using tools like pktgen, or similar. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage. Documentation of product architecture, requirements, and concepts in clear, concise and consistent specifications. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to provide the best solutions. Adapt to new technologies in dynamic environment. Mandatory Skills: Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience working in the IT infrastructure industry. In-depth knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols(e.g., VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, ECMP, QoS, ACLs, etc.). Familiarity with standard networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). Strong experience in functional, performance, regression, and compatibility testing for networking devices. Familiarity with test tools such as IXIA, Spirent, pktgen, or similar.
