QA Testing Internship

About the Role We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Testing Intern to join our growing quality assurance team. Key Responsibilities Assist in testing web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality user experiences Write, review, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements Identify, log, and track bugs using issue tracking tools like Jira or Trello Perform various types of testing: functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams Document test results, report defects, and provide detailed feedback Support the QA team in enhancing testing processes and best practices Learn and potentially contribute to automated testing scripts Requirements Basic understanding of software development and testing life cycle (SDLC/STLC) Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and test case design Good knowledge of web and mobile application functionality Exposure to bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman (optional but desirable) Understanding of databases and SQL basics Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Good communication and team collaboration abilities Nice to Have Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field Prior internship, project, or self-initiated experience in QA/testing Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright Exposure to CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, GitHub Actions, etc.) Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus What We Offer A hands-on learning experience with real-world software projects Certificate of Internship and Letter of Recommendation Possibility of full-time employment based on performance Apply now with your resume and portfolio (if any).
