Job Description

Job Purpose: To deliver engaging, age-appropriate science lessons to primary school students, nurturing curiosity, scientific thinking, and foundational knowledge in line with curriculum standards. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver interactive science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Use hands-on experiments, models, and multimedia to enhance conceptual understanding. Integrate environmental and health awareness topics to build holistic understanding. Foster a love for inquiry, observation, and investigation among young learners. Assess student progress regularly through classwork, activities, and formal assessments. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science with other subjects (e.g., EVS, Math). Prepare teaching aids, visual materials, and science displays. Ensure the safety of students during practical activities and demonstrations. Maintain student records and report progress to parents through PTMs and report cards. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and workshops. ⸻ Qualifications & Requirements: Graduate in Science (preferably B.Sc.) with B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training. Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience at the primary level (preferred). Proficient in English and able to use basic educational technology (smartboards, PPTs). Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. A nurturing, patient, and energetic teaching style. ⸻ Preferred Qualities: Creative lesson planning and use of innovative teaching methods. Passion for early childhood education and science communication. Willingness to contribute to extracurricular science-based activities, exhibitions, and events Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
