We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with expertise in Estimation and Detail Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, preparing technical offers, estimating costs, and coordinating with vendors and clients. Key Responsibilities: Estimation Phase: Study tender/enquiry documents to understand electrical, instrumentation, and automation requirements. Perform basic sizing calculations and prepare BOQ for transformers, MCC, VCB, VFD panels, cables, UPS, batteries, chargers, etc. Develop instrument schedules, I/O assignments, and other relevant documentation. Prepare technical offers and fill data sheets for electrical and instrumentation scopes. Conduct cost estimation with vendor backups for electrical and instrumentation equipment. Attend site visits and technical meetings with customers/consultants. Detail Engineering Phase: Prepare SLD, load lists, equipment layouts, instrument schedules, control philosophy, logic diagrams, and I/O assignments. Design tray layouts, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, cable schedules, and interconnection drawings. Develop enquiry documents for all electrical and instrumentation equipment. Collaborate with clients/consultants to obtain document approvals. Coordinate with vendors and conduct technical evaluations of sub-vendor offers. Assist in budget preparation for electrical and instrumentation activities. Work closely with the purchase team for ordering equipment and materials. Manage interactions with consultants and clients such as NTPC, BHEL, TCE, DCPL, Desein, and EIL. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field. Experience: 8-15 years in electrical and instrumentation estimation/detail engineering. Skills Required: Proficiency in electrical and instrumentation design tools. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost estimation. Hands-on experience in preparing SLDs, load lists, and layouts. Vendor coordination and technical evaluation skills.
