Project Manager (Fire Protection & Detection)

As a Fire Protection Sprinkler Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and executing fire protection sprinkler projects. Your role involves providing project layout, design, and coordination for day-to-day activities, ensuring overall project safety compliance, and overseeing the commissioning process. You will be expected to maintain project budgets, address product-related problems, and act as a technical resource for sales on large projects. Additionally, you will review and interpret contract terms, provide ongoing project cost analysis reporting, and use negotiation skills to resolve disputes effectively. It will be essential for you to develop and maintain relationships with customers/clients and subcontractors, attend job progress meetings, and ensure that team members and subcontractors adhere to safety standards. You will also be accountable for customer acceptance of project solutions, manage project technical risks, validate design choices with peers and project directors, and lead the project engineering team. Allocating tasks to the engineering team, deploying engineering processes and tools, and evaluating the project engineering team's performance will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will provide technical documents for installation, testing, and commissioning, address technical issues identified by team members, and coordinate actions during the project warranty period. Your role may also involve any other tasks assigned by senior management based on situational requirements.
