Allen Bradley Programmer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC programs

  using Allen Bradley ControlLogix and Studio 5000.

• Develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications

  using FactoryTalk View Studio (ME/SE).

• Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems

  and ensure robust network communication (Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
• Perform

  I/O mapping, logic development, and comprehensive system testing

  .

• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams

  for seamless system integration.

• Maintain thorough documentation

  , including wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and user manuals.
• Ensure

  code documentation, version control, and test validation

  are meticulously managed.
• Guarantee

  compliance with safety standards

  and industry best practices throughout all projects.

• Provide technical support and training

  to end-users and maintenance teams.

• Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting

  of automation systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Studio 5000.

• Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagrams (FBD), Structured Text (ST)

  , and IEC 61131 standards.
• Ability to

  interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation drawings.

• Strong experience with FactoryTalk View Studio ME/SE.

• Knowledge of

  SCADA architecture, networking protocols, and industrial communication

  (EtherNet/IP, OPC, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with

  RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, and PanelView HMIs.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma

  in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.

• 3-7 years of relevant experience

  in industrial automation and PLC programming.
