Troubleshoot critical breakdowns and ensure quick resolution with root cause analysis (RCA). Maintain and monitor performance parameters like MTTR, MTBF, OEE. 2. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and shift fitters. Conduct skill assessment and technical training for the maintenance team. Allocate resources for daily maintenance activities and emergency support. 3. Strategic Planning & Improvement Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with plant production targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, and 5S in maintenance practices. Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless operations. 4. Spare Parts & Inventory Management Maintain critical spare parts inventory for open die press and other key equipment. Coordinate with the procurement team for sourcing OEM parts and maintenance consumables. Implement spare part usage tracking and cost control measures. 5. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with safety protocols, statutory requirements, and machine guarding standards. Conduct hazard analysis and implement corrective actions on maintenance-related safety risks. Participate in audits (internal, ISO, OHSAS) and ensure closure of observations. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, breakdown logs, RCA reports, and spare part consumption. Present monthly performance reports to senior management with analysis and improvement plans. Maintain OEM manuals, electrical schematics, and maintenance history for all critical machines.
