Plant Operator

Job Responsibilities: Operate and monitor biogas purification systems (e.g., PSA, water scrubbing, membrane separation). Ensure smooth and continuous operation of all plant components such as blowers, compressors, dryers, scrubbers, H₂S removal units, and gas storage systems. Monitor process parameters and record data (pressure, temperature, flow rate, gas composition, etc.). Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform preventive and minor corrective maintenance. Maintain accurate logs of production, downtime, maintenance activities, and incidents. Ensure the plant adheres to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Coordinate with the maintenance team and management for troubleshooting and repairs. Take gas samples and assist in lab testing and analysis for methane content, CO₂, H₂S, and moisture. Handle start-up and shutdown procedures safely and efficiently. Respond quickly and effectively to alarms and operational issues. Skills & Competencies: Basic understanding of gas purification processes and equipment. Familiarity with PLC/SCADA-based control systems is an advantage. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of safety protocols in gas handling and pressurized systems. Good communication and teamwork skills.
