As a Process Engineer with Hydromet, youll work alongside our team to deliver projects in beneficiation, hydrometallurgy, and specialty chemicals. Your role includes conducting feasibility studies, process simulations, and design, while analyzing plant data for improvements. Youll also prepare reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.

Worked on a number of Basic design packages for Hydrogen, Ammonia, MeOH, HyCO projects as process engineer. As Process engineer with responsibilities of preparation /Review of process flow diagrams from FEED consultant/contractor, Detail engineering consultant/ contractor. Preparation /Review of P&IDs from FEED consultant/contractor, Detail engineering consultant/ contractor. Preparation/ Review of material selection and relief load calculation from FEED consultant/contractor, Detail engineering consultant/ contractor. Preparation of Process specification of different process specifications like reactor, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers etc. Process studies involving evaluation of current plant operating data and revamp projects for energy optimization and capacity enhancement. Experience of different reforming technologies like SMR, HTER, HTCR, ATR Should have design and engineering support activities for Ammonia process / Urea Process for Fertilizer Plant/ Greenfield Fertilizer Projects.

About the Job Develop and document design basis Carry out process studies under supervision Evaluate and optimize process schemes Preparing heat and material balances and associated Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Preparing and modifying Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) Experience with process simulation software (i.e., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, ProII, etc.) Sizing, selecting, and specifying process equipment (i.e., pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, columns, etc.) Experience in carrying out surge studies using Pipenet Transient is a MUST. Input into material selection Carry out complex hydraulic calculations Experience sizing, selecting, and specifying pressure relief devices Familiarity with the sizing, selection and specification of process instrumentation Provide assistance to the Senior Lead Engineer, as requested, in the areas of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement, activities etc. Exhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes and governing regulations and industry practices, etc. Assist, as required, in the development of department standards and procedures. Assist with Quality Audits . Field experience including troubleshooting, start-up, commissioning, etc. would be a plus. About You: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering is required. Minimum 7 - 15 years of chemical process engineering experience in similar EPC environment for Onshore Offshore projects.
