Network Infrastructure Manager

As a Network and Security Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for providing network administration support and managing a team of network security engineers. With a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant experience, you will have the expertise to lead a team effectively. In the absence of a degree, certifications or extensive experience will also be considered. Your role will require networking certifications such as CCNA and CCNP, along with experience in network and security architectural and engineering support across various domains. You should demonstrate deep technical knowledge in fortigate and checkpoint Firewalls, as well as network security best practices. Your responsibilities will include assessing and troubleshooting complex environments, implementing network infrastructure, and ensuring adherence to networking protocols and standards. Problem management skills will be crucial, as you will be expected to identify risks, determine corrective actions, and develop incident resolution plans for switching, routing, and firewall-related issues. Effective communication with leadership, internal users, vendors, and customers is essential, along with the ability to collaborate across multiple domains to resolve business outages and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Your expertise in Cisco Nexus and ACI is mandatory, and you will be tasked with designing and implementing network security architectures to counter advanced cyber threats. Additionally, project management skills will be required to track and report on operational projects such as upgrades and migrations. Preferred qualifications for this role include a CCIE certification and experience in managing multiple vendors, reviewing new features, and negotiation skills. Your ability to build and develop technical teams through training and awareness sessions will also be highly valued in this position.,
