We, KLS&A are advising and assisting our Confidential Client - A Reputed Mid-sized Company - Leading Electrical/ Electronic Components Manufacturer in hiring a SALES HEAD PAN INDIA, based at Pune.

Requirements:

Head of Sales Pan India

Job Location: At Factory, Near Pune city

Reporting to: Managing Director

Team Size: 8 to 10 people

Qualification: An Engineering Degree, Or Diploma, preferably in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

Experience: 5 to 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience in both Direct B2B Sales/OEM Sale and Channel Sales - in Electrical/Electronic Components to the user industries like Home Appliances, Lighting, Power Electronics, Power regulator, Power storage, Induction Heating, Telecom, Test and Measuring Instruments, Automobiles, Railways, and Renewable Energy, etc.

Other Skills and Requirements:

  • Strategic mindset and ability to implement and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Well-developed Sales, marketing, and business development skills, along with strategic customer relationship building skills.
  • Experience in both Direct B2B Sale, as well as Channel Sale
  • Sales Leadership ability to lead sales, marketing and business development team.
  • Travel ability to travel extensively across India on regular basis, and selectively abroad when needed.

Role:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing Strategy – refining and finetuning sales, marketing, and pricing strategies based on market intelligence. Planning, launching, and implementing effective Sales and Marketing Initiatives.
  • Sales Planning – regionwide, productise, period wise.
  • Monitoring Sales – continuously monitor sales performance, and take necessary, timely actions and appropriate intervention to ensure that the actual sales progress remain on track, and the planned sales growth is achieved.
  • Direct B2B Sales / OEM Sales – engaging with B2B / OEM prospects and customers to driver sales growth in different industry segments like – Home Appliances, Power Storage, Induction Heating, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Railways, Automobile, and Telecom, etc. – Pan-India
  • Channel Sales management – evaluating, appointing, training, and supporting dealers – in different states all over India; and taking strategic decision about channel partners’ discounts and incentives in consultation with higher management.
  • Customer relations – build and maintain durable, productive, and mutually supportive relations with customers and channel partners that help grow company’s business.
  • Business Development, Penetration, and Market expansion – expanding customers base, and exploring new sales growth avenues in new geographies in India and internationally, new applications, new industries, and new customers.
  • Product management – evaluate market/customers feedback, and work with R&D team to develop new/improved products, find new viable applications for the company’s products, and offer better products, and adjusting pricing as per the market situation.
  • Marketing and Product promotions – Development of effective Marketing Collaterals, and Promotion of Products at Exhibitions, Tradeshows, Print Media, and Digital Media.
  • Market Intelligence – continuously gather and evaluate and act on market intelligence concerning market developments, competitors activities, competitors’ products and their pricing and promotion strategies, and guarding channel partners.
  • Sales Leadership - hiring, training, grooming, mentoring, and motivating sales and marketing team members for effective sales and customer relation techniques, and achieving sales growth objectives.
