MERN Stack Developer (Node.js Stronger)

As a MERN Stack Developer at Muoro, you will be responsible for utilizing your 3+ years of experience to demonstrate a strong expertise in Node.js and proficiency in React.js. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services using modern JavaScript frameworks. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. You will also be tasked with building interactive and responsive UI components with React.js, designing and optimizing RESTful APIs & GraphQL endpoints, and implementing authentication, authorization, and security best practices. Additionally, you will need to write efficient, scalable, and reusable code following best coding practices, optimize application performance, scalability, and database queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. To excel in this role, you must possess 3+ years of experience in MERN stack development, strong expertise in Node.js and backend development, hands-on experience with React.js, Redux (or Context API), and component-based architecture, proficiency in MongoDB, experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets, familiarity with JWT, OAuth, and other authentication mechanisms, knowledge of unit testing (Jest, Mocha, Chai) and debugging tools, experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred), strong problem-solving and analytical skills, experience with Next.js for SSR/SSG, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, exposure to Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, and knowledge of microservices architecture.
