Role Overview Lead our newest product line, Dista Markets, driving marketplace operations and growth. You'll work at the intersection of technology, operations, and business strategy to establish Dista Markets as the go-to platform for authentic Indian products globally in all the marketplaces such as Amazon.com (US), Walmart, Etsy & similar. Key Responsibilities Role: Marketplace Manager Location: Hyderabad Marketplace Operations & Strategy Develop marketplace strategy including category expansion, pricing, and competitive positioning Oversee catalog management, inventory optimization, and performance metrics/KPIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless platform integration Vendor & Brand Management Onboard and nurture relationships with Indian D2C brands and vendors Develop vendor success programs and negotiate commercial terms Ensure compliance with quality standards and brand guidelines Product & Customer Experience Define marketplace feature requirements and coordinate product enhancements Develop customer acquisition/retention strategies and promotional campaigns Monitor performance data and customer feedback for continuous improvement Cross-Border Operations Ensure compliance with international regulations across USA, UK, Canada markets Coordinate with logistics teams for optimized cross-border shipping Support currency management and international payment processing Required Qualifications: Experience: 4-6 years in marketplace operations, e-commerce, or vendor management with proven track record in online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel), e-commerce platforms, marketplace management systems, and understanding of API integrations Business Acumen: Strong grasp of marketplace dynamics, international trade regulations, pricing strategies, and digital marketing fundamentals Soft Skills: Excellent communication for vendor relationship management, strong project management abilities, problem-solving mindset for startup environments Preferred candidate profile MBA or advanced degree in Business/Marketing Experience with Indian D2C brands and cross-border e-commerce Knowledge of global payment systems and marketplace advertising tools Ready to help Indian brands conquer global markets?
