Marketing Team Lead - (BDTL)

As a Business Development Team Lead at our company based in Mangalore, you will play a vital role in leading and expanding our sales team within the dynamic EdTech sector. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of Business Development Executives, crafting sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and fostering enduring relationships with educational institutions and corporate clients. Your key tasks will involve overseeing, mentoring, and guiding the business development team towards achieving sales targets. You will be tasked with formulating and implementing sales strategies to attract new clients and enhance existing accounts. Monitoring team performance, providing training, feedback, and assistance will also fall under your purview. Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to fine-tune strategies, managing sales pipelines, reviews, and forecasting will be essential aspects of your role. Collaborating with the marketing department to devise lead-generation campaigns and nurturing strong partnerships with schools, colleges, and other partners will be crucial. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales/business development, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership position, is required. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, along with exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, will be instrumental. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office is necessary, and a willingness to travel as needed is expected.
