Job Description

As a Marketing Analytics Specialist at Trimble, you will be crucial in supporting the Trimble Demand Generation Teams by playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of Marketing analytics. Your primary responsibility will involve defining and driving a clear vision for the team while ensuring successful implementation. You will focus on building the technical foundation and analytics framework to support Marketing and Publishing initiatives, optimizing processes, and aligning data strategies with broader business goals. Your key responsibilities will include defining, developing, and implementing the technical foundation and analytics framework for Marketing and Publishing initiatives. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for user acquisition campaigns and broader publishing strategies. Moreover, you will work closely with the Marketing Operations team to create and implement data collection strategies for capturing key marketing data from various sources. As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you will also be responsible for developing and maintaining data models & dashboards to organize and visualize marketing data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Your role will entail conducting in-depth analysis of user acquisition campaigns, including cohort analysis, attribution modeling, and A/B testing to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. To excel in this role, you should have 5-8 years of proven experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on customer acquisition in both B2B and B2C industries. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar platforms are essential. Additionally, proficiency in developing visually compelling and insightful dashboards within Domo to track key marketing performance indicators is required. You should be adept at translating complex marketing data into easily understandable and actionable insights through data visualization best practices. Proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization tools, and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and attribution models are crucial for this role. Moreover, excellent communication, collaboration skills, and strong project management skills are essential to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics and user acquisition, incorporating new techniques and tools as appropriate. Your ability to mentor and guide junior analysts will foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the team.
