About the role:
We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong DevOps Manager based in India to join our globally distributed engineering team. As part of our ongoing transformation, we are evolving our CI/CD capabilities into a modern, DevOps-focused organizationand this role is central to that shift.
This is both a technical and people leadership role, requiring deep expertise in DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and a strong understanding of the engineering toolchain. You will lead a regional team responsible for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and supporting key engineering platforms such as Atlassian, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow our India-based DevOps and engineering tooling support team within a global delivery model.
- Drive the modernization and scalability of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure-as-code implementations.
- Provide technical oversight and hands-on support for key engineering platforms and tools, including but not limited too:
- o CI/CD Build Automation: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines
o Cloud Infrastructure Orchestration: Terraform, Kubernetes Helm, Docker
o Security Compliance Tooling: Veracode, SonarQube, Nessus, Orca
o Monitoring Observability: Prometheus + Grafana, Nagios, Azure Log Analytics
o Source Control Collaboration: GitHub, Perforce, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Teams - Partner with global engineering and platform teams to standardize and streamline tooling, access, and integrations.
- Ensure uptime, performance, and configuration management of core engineering platforms.
- Act as an agile champion, promoting iterative delivery, continuous feedback, and cross-team collaboration.
- Collaborate with global leadership and Product Owners to align roadmaps, share best practices, and contribute to the DevOps teams rebranding and transformation.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, or platform engineering, with 23+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep technical expertise with modern DevOps tools and practices
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven success in leading agile teams and scaling DevOps practices in a complex, distributed environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
- Experience in rebranding or evolving engineering organizations is a strong plus.
