Manager Legal Affairs

We are looking for a qualified and experienced "Legal Manager" to manage all legal matters and ensure institutional compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the university’s interests through effective legal strategy, contract review, and regulatory adherence.

Qualification:

• LLB/LLM from a recognized university

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and vetting of agreements, MoUs, contracts, and legal notices
• Handling litigation and coordinating with external legal counsels
• Ensuring regulatory compliance with UGC, AICTE, and state/national education authorities
• Representing the university before courts, tribunals, or government bodies
• Advising management on legal risks, policies, and documentation
• Responding to RTIs, legal queries, and internal complaints
• Managing legal records and case documentation
• Handling internal disciplinary proceedings and labor law compliance

Required Skills:

• Minimum 8-10 Years experience
• Sound knowledge of education laws, labour laws, contract law
• Excellent drafting and documentation skills
• Experience in managing institutional or public sector legal matters
• Ability to handle pressure and multi-task with confidentiality
• Fluent in English and Hindi (verbal and written)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
