Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Oversight

• Lead and manage warehouse operations across multiple locations, ensuring

consistency and compliance with SOPs.

• Drive implementation of best practices in inventory management, space utilization,

material handling, and safety compliance.

• Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs such as GRN turnaround time, pick-pack

accuracy, and cost per square foot.

• Enforce FIFO/FEFO practices and ensure efficient workforce deployment.

Transportation Management

• Oversee the performance of warehouse and transporter managers for dispatch

planning, vehicle allocation, and documentation.

• Optimize transport operations through route planning, vehicle utilization, and

scheduling to improve delivery TAT and reduce costs.

• Negotiate with transport partners to secure competitive freight rates and service

level agreements.

• Ensure full compliance with transport documentation, including e-way bills, LRs, and

PODs.

• Analyze monthly logistics spends and identify opportunities to reduce costs across

warehousing and transportation.

• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, regular performance

reviews, and vendor audits.

• Lead initiatives to digitize and automate manual logistics processes using

ERP/WMS/TMS systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with procurement, sales, customer service, and finance teams to align

logistics activities with business priorities.

• Troubleshoot bottlenecks affecting warehouse or last-mile delivery operations.
• Conduct performance reviews and alignment meetings with vendors, 3PL partners,

and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

-Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 5- 6 years of experience in logistics/supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a

managerial/ leadership role.

- Strong command of warehouse operations, transportation cost structures, and

contract/vendor management.

- Proficient in MS Excel, and experience in ERP/WMS/TMS systems.

- Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a data-driven approach.

Working Conditions:

• Working Days

  : Monday to Friday, Saturday (Work from Home – 5hours)

• Working Hours

  : 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

• Compensation
