Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager in the sheet metal manufacturing industry, your primary responsibility will be to manage warehouse operations efficiently. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management. In this role, you will oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensure timely dispatches, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure a smooth material flow. Your key responsibilities will include managing daily warehouse operations such as receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch. You will also be responsible for tracking raw materials, semi-finished, and finished sheet metal products accurately. Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and distribution, will be crucial. Developing effective logistics strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery will be part of your responsibilities. Coordinating with production planning, purchase, and quality departments to ensure material availability and flow is essential. Maintaining safety, hygiene, and security standards within the warehouse will be a priority. You will also manage and supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators. Ensuring proper documentation for all inventory and logistics-related activities and handling third-party logistics service providers will be part of your duties. You will also be expected to use ERP systems for inventory control, stock movements, and report generation. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry, is required. Strong knowledge of warehouse layout planning, material handling equipment, and safety norms is crucial. Proficiency in ERP/WMS software and MS Office is necessary. Good organizational, communication, and team management skills are also important. The ability to work under pressure and in coordination with cross-functional teams is essential.
