Job Description

As a Lead Technical Program Manager at Mastercard, you will have the primary responsibility of ensuring the successful and timely implementation of complex IT projects to achieve the intended business results. You will be accountable for managing relationships and communication with program leadership, senior management, and various program contributors. Your role will involve identifying key barriers to project success and actively managing mitigation activities, as well as implementing and supporting solutions and alternatives that align with Mastercard standards, processes, and best practices. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects through your team and dependent organizations. In this role, you will be leading and driving multiple workstreams concurrently to deliver engineering work across the portfolio within our Scrum execution model. You may be involved in executing features through the full stack or managing projects that span multiple teams and integrations, consistently providing meaningful status updates along the way. Your responsibilities as a Lead TPM will include working closely with the Engineer Director, Principals, Engineering VP, Product Managers, and other engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and features throughout the software project lifecycle. You will manage complex, technical, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will be accountable for release schedules and milestones in a fast-paced environment, presenting Release Demos, and ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum practices. To excel in this role, you should possess over 7 years of experience managing multi-stakeholder programs in a global organization or equivalent setting. You must demonstrate the ability to work independently, break down problems, organize work, plan sprints, and deliver technical programs in agile delivery models. A track record of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement methodologies, and effective communication with executives, peers, and staff is essential. You should also have experience building relationships, influencing dependent teams, and working with ambiguity to drive projects forward. Moreover, a degree in engineering, computer science, project management, or a related discipline, along with knowledge or experience with tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sonar, Artifactory, and common pipelines, is advantageous. Candidates are encouraged to apply promptly as posting windows may change based on application volume and business needs. As a team member or representative of Mastercard, you are expected to abide by security policies, maintain the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, report any security violations or breaches, and participate in mandatory security training sessions to uphold the organization's information security standards.,
