Lead QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Automation Lead, you will play a crucial role in mentoring QA personnel and driving the team towards automation and innovation. You will be responsible for enhancing current automation frameworks, tools, and strategies to ensure efficient and effective testing processes. Reporting to the QA manager, you will lead product QA automation efforts, providing continuous feedback and seeking opportunities for improvement. Collaboration with the engineering team is essential as you work closely to understand product architecture and functionality. Your goal is to ensure that quality engineers receive the necessary support, such as automation hooks or debug builds, to carry out their tasks effectively. Additionally, you will be actively involved in project deadlines, striving to elevate the standards of quality processes with each release. Taking complete ownership of release deliverables, multitasking, and mentoring team members will be key aspects of your role. You will work on improving processes for test plan reviews and ensure that test strategies cover various types of testing, including unit, functional, performance, stress, and acceptance testing. In the event of troubleshooting customer issues, you will provide root cause analysis as needed and serve as the focal point of contact for QA team escalations related to testing, quality assurance, and automation. Continuous improvement of testing, validation processes, and automation will be a priority to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum 3+ years of experience in automating and testing distributed backend software architectures - Good knowledge of any public or private Cloud platform - 3+ years of work experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications - Hands-on experience in Python/Robot framework or any other scripting language - Hands-on experience with functional UI and API automation - Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus - Strong experience in integrating automation for CI/CD build processes, managing QA environments, and working with build management tools like Git, Bamboo, Jenkins - Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms is advantageous - Proficiency in Linux - Troubleshooting network issues, knowledge of packet analysis tools like tcpdump and Wireshark - Knowledge of testing web application security and vulnerabilities Join our team and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, automation, and quality assurance in a dynamic and innovative environment.,
