About the Role
iO Associates is looking for a Java Lead Engineer with 8+ Years of experience to guide a Scrum team (15-18 engineers) in developing scalable, cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing Agile team in developing enterprise-grade applications.
• Design and build scalable, cloud-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Drive software quality and best practices (OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns).
• Champion modern cloud architectures and microservices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on Java experience (Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Mandatory experience in the travel industry
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Proven experience in leading Agile teams (8+ engineers).
• Expertise in event-driven architectures, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
