Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Data Engineer, located in Gurugram. The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, building data models, implementing ETL processes, and managing data warehousing solutions. The role also includes data analytics responsibilities to derive actionable insights for our clients. The candidate will engage with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using

  Databricks

  and

  Microsoft Fabric

• Develop and maintain robust

  ETL processes

  for efficient data movement
• Implement and optimize

  data models

  – Dimensional & Data Vault
• Work with

  data warehousing solutions

  to ensure clean, consumable data for analytics teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver

  end-to-end data flows

  (ingestion → transformation → consumption)
• Ensure data accuracy, performance tuning, and problem resolution

Required Skills:

• Databricks

  (hands-on)

• Microsoft Fabric

  (strong working knowledge)

• SQL

  – advanced querying, stored procedures, and tuning

• PySpark / Python

  – for data transformation
• Basic knowledge of

  Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Experience with
