Join our innovative Data Science team at St. John s as a Junior Research Developer. You will contribute to the development of full stack applications, working on both frontend and backend components. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career developers looking to grow their experience in a research-oriented environment using Python and modern web technologies. You will also gain exposure to machine learning applications and will have access to the compute infrastructure required for such work. Last Day for Receiving Application: 6th June 2025 Roles and Responsibilities : Assist in the development and maintenance of full stack web applications. Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Python. Develop frontend interfaces using modern web frameworks. Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure cohesive and functional user experiences. Participate in code reviews and help maintain high code quality. Support debugging and testing processes to ensure stable and reliable services. Document development processes, code, and APIs. Required Qualifications Required Qualifications: Strong passion for research, scientific temper, and willingness to collaborate with multiple research teams. Strong Understanding of Basic concepts of Software Development. Familiarity with at least one Python web framework (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI). Understanding of RESTful API principles and basic web architecture. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Exposure to version control systems like Git. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Basic understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Interest in healthcare or research-oriented projects. Exposure to machine learning concepts and tools.
