Junior Design Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Client Consultation

  : Assist customers in identifying their interior design needs, understand their preferences, and provide personalized design solutions for residential or commercial spaces.

• Design Development

  : Collaborate with the senior design team to create mood boards, layouts, 3D visualizations, and other design presentations to communicate ideas to clients.

• Product Knowledge

  : Stay updated on Home Komforts offerings, including furniture, accessories, and home dcor products, to provide relevant recommendations to customers.

• Design Implementation

  : Assist in the execution of design concepts in the showroom by arranging furniture, accessories, and samples in ways that align with the brands aesthetic and customer needs.

• Project Coordination

  : Work alongside project managers and senior designers to ensure the timely execution of design projects, including the sourcing of materials and overseeing project timelines.

• Customer Engagement

  : Actively engage with clients in the Experience Center, answer design-related queries, and provide guidance on how products can be customized or integrated into their spaces.

• Sales Support

  : Support the sales team by recommending design solutions that align with customer needs, leading to increased sales and customer satisfaction.

• Store Visual Merchandising

  : Assist in maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the store by organizing displays and ensuring products are arranged according to the latest design trends.

• Learning & Development

  : Continuously develop your design skills by learning from senior associates and participating in workshops and training sessions.

Requirements-

• Educational Qualification

  : A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.

• Experience

  : 0-3 years of experience in interior design, retail, or showroom environments is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in interior design are encouraged to apply.

• Software Proficiency

  : Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, Enscape, Vray,etc.

• Creative Skills

  : Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, space planning, and current interior design trends.

• Communication

  : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with clients, team members, and vendors professionally and courteously.

• Attention to Detail

  : Strong eye for design and keen attention to detail, ensuring all client requirements are met in the design process.

• Team Player

  : Ability to collaborate with other design professionals, sales staff, and project managers effectively.

• Customer-Centric Mindset

  : Passionate about delivering a high level of service to clients and ensuring they have an exceptional experience at our Experience Center.
