Hiring Position: Regional Sales Manager

Position: 2 Nos

Area: Western India and Southern India

Headquartered at: Mumbai (Western India), Bengaluru (Southern India)

Reporting: Vice President Sales (VP-Sales)

Channel: General Trade

Market Coverage: Western Maharashtra, Gujrat, MPCG

Southern Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana

Direct Reporting Team: ZSMs

  • Part of the sales leadership team, responsible for managing sales for respective

regions Western and Southern.

  • Agile and ready to perform in the demanding environment for deliverables.
  • Leads a team of ZSMs, ASMs, ASEs (area sales executives) and extended sales

team, deploys and monitors execution of the sales strategy of the company in

the region as per annual operating plan.

  • Planning & Execution of volume, value and market share objective achievement in the

assigned area.

  • Build Sales and Distribution (S&D) strategy for the region with respect to people &

infrastructure setup.

  • Develop local strategies to ensure implementation of S&D strategy.
  • Drive distribution initiatives such as new outlets, reach out to rural areas,

appointing new distributors, etc.

  • Strategies to Manage distributor size, scale and ROI. Implement channel

financing plans for key distributors and its complete execution.

Current Business handling:

Candidate must be from Maharashtra and well versed with the native language.

He must be handling business of 500 Cr. To 1000 Cr. Annually in his current role.

He must have through geographical knowledge of Maharashtra and one more state either Gujarat or MPCG.

Candidates graduated from premier B-School will be preferred with 15 yrs to 20 yrs. Of exp out which 50% time spent in required HQ and should handled hardcore Sales profiles only.

If a candidate is not from premier B-School must have 20 or 20+ years of experience out of which must have 10 years of experience into FMCG industry in a leadership role.

South:

Candidate must be from Karnataka and well versed with the native language.

He must be handling business of 60 Cr. In Karnataka & APTS region and can grow region to 250 Cr. Annually in next 3 years.

He must have through geographical knowledge of Maharashtra and one more state either Gujarat or MPCG.

Candidates graduated from premier B-School will be preferred with 15 yrs to 20 yrs. Of exp. Out of which 50% time spent in required HQ and should have handled hardcore Sales profiles only.

If a candidate is not from premier B-School must have 20 or 20+ years of experience out of which must have 10 years of experience into FMCG industry in a leadership role.
