Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure and hardware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing servers, diagnosing and fixing hardware issues (such as hard disk failures in laptops), managing network systems, and ensuring smooth internet and router functionality. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and storage systems. • Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues, including laptops and hard drives. • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. • Provide support for network connectivity issues and ensure stable internet access. • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls. • Maintain documentation of IT assets, procedures, and troubleshooting logs. • Assist in IT procurement and vendor coordination when necessary. • Provide timely technical support to internal teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. • 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support and infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of server and hardware management. • Experience in diagnosing and fixing hard disks and other laptop-related issues. • Sound understanding of networking concepts and internet technologies. • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting. • Certification in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent is mandatory. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure to system administration tools. • Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery practices. • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
