Role: Proofpoint Platform Administration Location: Chennai Administer and configure Proofpoint solutions, including Proofpoint Email Protection, Proofpoint Targeted Attack Protection (TAP), Proofpoint Information Protection, and Proofpoint Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). Configure policies for inbound and outbound email filtering, spam protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and advanced threat defense. Set up and manage user roles, groups, and permissions within the Proofpoint platform Review and investigate security alerts and incidents generated by Proofpoint's threat detection capabilities, such as phishing attempts, malware attachments, and other malicious email-based threats. Respond to and triage security events, ensuring timely remediation and reporting to the appropriate teams Ensure the platform is up-to-date, applying patches, firmware updates, and security fixes as required. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Proofpoint configurations, email security, and system performance Configure and enforce email security policies, including content filtering, URL defense, and attachment protection, to mitigate threats like phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and spam. Customize data loss prevention (DLP) policies to safeguard sensitive information from being shared inadvertently or maliciously. Fine-tune security rules and thresholds for detecting spam, phishing, and other email-borne attacks based on evolving threat landscapes Generate and analyze detailed reports on email security incidents, false positives/negatives, and overall platform health.
