KeyResponsibilities 1. Architect,deploy,andmaintainscalablebackupandrecoverysolutionsacrosson-prem,hybrid, andcloudenvironments. 2. ManageandoptimizeDataProtectionTechnologieslikeCohesity,DataDomain. 3. ConfiguringandmanagingbackupsolutionforMicrosoft365. 4. Automatebackupworkflowsandreportingusingscripting(Ansible,PowerShell,Python,Bash). 5. Definebackuppolicies,retentionschedules,andensurecompliancewithdataprotection regulations(e.g.,GDPR,HIPAA,SOX). 6. Monitorbackupenvironments,performcapacityplanning,andmanageupgrades/patchingof backupinfrastructure. 7. Collaboratewithsecurityandinfrastructureteamstodevelopandtestbusinesscontinuityand disasterrecovery(BC/DR)plans. 8. Serveasatechnicaladvisorininfrastructureprojects,helpingtointegratebackupbest practicesintonewdeployments. 9. Participateinauditsupportandprovidedocumentationforcomplianceinitiatives Qualifications BachelorsdegreeinEngineering,ComputerScience,orrelateddiscipline,orequivalent professionalexperience. 6+yearsofhands-onexperiencemanagingenterprisebackupplatforms(e.g.,Cohesity,Dell DataDomain). Atleast3yearsindesigningandimplementingenterpriseclassbackupsolutionsforalarge Company Deepknowledgeofbackup,recovery,anddatareplicationtechnologiesacrossphysical,virtual, andcloudenvironments. Experiencewithscriptingandautomation(Ansible,PowerShell,Python,etc.). Strongunderstandingofstoragesystems,virtualization(VMware/Hyper-V),andcloud platforms(Azure,AWS).
