Job Description

Control Stores & Logistics Operations to deliverright material as per project requirements.

Monitor liquidation of surplus and obsoletematerials.

Monitor compliance to statutory / regulatoryrequirements.

Formulate Policies in consultation with Head-SCM andHead-Maintenance with respect to preservation of materials.

Ensure all receipts and issues are accounted in SAPwithin the KPI timelines. All SOP#s for material accounting are followed.Ensure book stock matches with physical stock.

Ensure best industry practices are followed forpreservation of materials.

In coordination with Plant HSE team, set standardsin the area of operational & occupational safety and housekeeping withinthe Warehouse are including Yards.

To guide the Material Management and Logistics teamsto improve efficiency in the function.

To ensure and monitor that insurance claims aregenerated and lodged as per the prescribed procedures and within the timeframes.

To ensure OS &D reports are generated regularlyand timely intimations are done to Vendors and followed up thru Buyers to closethe actions.

Timely GRN#s preparation and issue of daily MIS withareas of concern and actions required.

Facilitate skill development, Build and develop teamwith experience in the field of respective category store operations /Inventory Management.

Build commercial intelligence within the team, Setgoals, review and manage performance, guide, motivate, counsel and providefeedback to the team members.

Education Requirement :

Engineering graduate ( Diploma in Materials Management as additionalqualification preferred)

Strong hands-on Knowledge of SAP, Inventory Control and specificationof project related materials

Must have handled a large store independently (preferably havingsatellite stores).

Experience Requirement :

Minimum 15 years of r elevant working experiencein oil & gas industry

Skills & Competencies :

Accuracy in Inventory management

Plan efficient Logistics to support operations

Hazardous scrap disposal

HSE Compliance
