Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the internal audit strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
• Proficient in the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of U.S Federal Compliance, with extensive experience in internal audit.
• Adapt at evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, and supporting management certifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audits, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices.
• Review and approve audit plans, programs, and reports.
• Identify and evaluate significant risks facing the organization and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that audit processes and methodologies adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of internal control systems and processes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and recommending enhancements to audit processes and controls.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing.

Required Skills :

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, including leadership roles. Experience in a similar industry or large corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, procedures, and techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and interact with senior management.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
