Job Summary:

Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement in productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency
Design and implement process improvements, workstations, and material flow layouts
Conduct time-motion studies and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Evaluate equipment, tools, and materials to improve production capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D) for process development and troubleshooting
Monitor and report KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, and cost
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma)
Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards in all process designs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial setup (Garments, Footwear, Leather)
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, process mapping, and productivity tools
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and production planning software (ERP systems preferred)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
