Implementation Specialist

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. The salary range for this position is between Rs 700,000 to Rs 1,100,000 per annum (i.e., INR 7-11 LPA). The minimum experience required for this role is 8 years. The location for this position is Mumbai and NOIDA. It is a full-time job. We are looking for a highly experienced Implementation Specialist to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the successful deployment of freight forwarding solutions for multiple client engagements. To excel in this role, you must have a deep understanding of freight forwarding processes, the ability to translate business requirements into execution plans, and a proven track record in overseeing end-to-end implementation projects. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure smooth onboarding, system configuration, and solution delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation of freight forwarding systems for enterprise clients, covering air, ocean, and land freight operations. - Develop and execute detailed implementation plans tailored to meet client needs, including project timelines, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and risk management. - Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and product teams to gather requirements and provide customized solutions that align with freight forwarding workflow specifications. - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on freight forwarding operations, advising clients on process optimization and best practices for system usage. - Manage client onboarding activities such as data migration, systems integration, documentation, UAT, and training sessions. - Address issues and offer escalation support throughout and after implementation to ensure high customer satisfaction and minimal operational disruptions. - Work with engineering and technical teams to set up APIs, EDI, and platform integrations with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other tools. - Continuously enhance implementation frameworks and templates based on feedback and evolving industry standards. - Lead stakeholder communication by providing regular updates to internal and external parties on project progress, risks, and dependencies. - Drive change management and user adoption through detailed documentation, workshops, and post-implementation reviews. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 8-12 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management, with a successful track record of implementing projects. - Comprehensive knowledge of global freight forwarding processes, including imports, exports, customs, documentation, and carrier integrations. - Proven expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementation projects across various global locations. - Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project planning, risk management, and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and client management capabilities. - Familiarity with freight forwarding systems like CargoWise, Descartes, SAP TM, or similar platforms is highly desirable. - Experience in working with API/EDI integrations and logistics software implementation is advantageous. - Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and drive initiatives to completion within tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification. - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. - Experience in digital transformation initiatives within the logistics industry.,
