Job Description

Job Title: HR Recruiter

Location: Saidapet, Chennai.

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary: The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The HR Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop strategies to find and attract top candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

2. Candidate Management:

  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and keep them informed of their application status.
  • Manage and track candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

3. Job Posting and Advertising:

  • Create compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards and company websites.
  • Utilize social media and other platforms to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates.

4. Interviewing and Selection:

  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop interview questions and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, including panel interviews if required.

5. Offer Management:

  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate salary and other terms of employment.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.

6. Onboarding:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

7. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving the recruitment process.

8. Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
