Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and guide the housekeeping staff, which includes room attendants, janitors, and cleaners. You will be required to inspect rooms, public areas, and work areas to ensure that cleanliness standards are met. Assigning duties and ensuring that work conforms to prescribed cleanliness standards will also be part of your duties. Moreover, maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and housekeeping equipment will be essential. In this role, you will be responsible for training new housekeeping employees on procedures and safety protocols. Addressing guest or client complaints promptly and preparing housekeeping schedules and duty rosters will also be crucial. Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment, monitoring staff attendance, and reporting any absenteeism or disciplinary issues will be part of your daily tasks. You will need to coordinate with the maintenance and front office departments to ensure a smooth workflow. Additionally, maintaining records related to housekeeping operations, such as cleaning checklists and inspection reports, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations will be essential. To qualify for this role, you should have at least a 12th pass or Graduate qualification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment is required. Strong leadership and team management skills, good organizational and time management abilities, and the capability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts are necessary. Familiarity with MS Office is a plus, and you should be physically fit to carry out inspection and support tasks. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person.,
