Head of Implementation

As the Implementation Head at our company, you will be responsible for leading the implementation function and driving operational excellence. Your role will require a combination of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to enhance our implementation capabilities while upholding quality standards. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing implementation strategies aligned with company goals, designing scalable frameworks and methodologies, establishing implementation standards and best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with various internal teams such as Sales, Product, and Engineering. You will also need to lead and mentor a high-performing implementation team, recruit and retain top talent, conduct performance reviews, manage resource allocation, and foster a culture of excellence and customer success. In addition, you will oversee a portfolio of implementation projects, ensure consistent delivery quality, optimize costs and margins, implement tools and automation for efficiency, and manage the implementation partner ecosystem. Furthermore, you will contribute to pre-sales activities, position solutions effectively against competitors, provide estimates and timelines, identify upsell opportunities, build relationships with key customers, and represent the company at industry events. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred. Professional certifications in areas such as leadership, ERP expertise, business, and change management are required. You should have 10-12 years of experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles, a proven track record of building and scaling implementation teams, and extensive experience in enterprise ERP ecosystems. Leadership skills, technical understanding, and preferred qualifications such as an MBA from a premier institution, advanced ERP certifications, and experience in high-growth SaaS companies are desirable. Strategic qualifications including management consulting background, enterprise architecture certifications, financial modeling expertise, and performance metrics related to team utilization rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue per resource will be essential for success in this role.
