Good knowledge in Basic & Detailed engineering and Skilled in Technology transfer to understand lab batch observation and execute at plant / pilot scale. Technical / Functional 1) Observing the batches in R&D and collect the required technical observations which will be helpful for scale-up of new products during first time execution in plant. 2) To plan and execute new products and provide necessary process engineering inputs for scaling up of lab process to pilot and plant scale with efficient collaboration between the cross functional departments. 3) Participation in pilot plant operations and studies for scale-up at plant level, execution and monitoring of trial and validation batches in coordination with manufacturing team. 4) Selecting the operating methods, facility requirements, equipment for effective scale-up and troubleshooting in process scale-up activities. 5) Preparing the PFD, P&ID, Volume Calculations, Time Cycle, HAZOP, Pre-Validation &Validation Report, Deviation/Incident/OOS/OOT reports. 6) Reviewing data of powder safety test for Technology Transfer of Intermediate / API and review of TSU, RC, DSC data for evaluating the thermal hazards of process. 7) Keeping track on availability of all raw materials required for trial, validation and Developmental batches 8) Interacting with vendors for equipment with new technology evaluation and implementation in existing production facility to improve the product / plant systems. 9) Willing to work in shifts if required.

Job Objective : This position is primarily responsible for managing the Shift safety activities, the safety officer is accountable for planning and overseeing the site safety activities to ensure overall satisfaction by maintaining zero accidents by continual improvement during the shift. Role description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Design Manager – Rail Systems to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary rail systems design activities across complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, technically sound, and integrated delivery of all rail systems design packages, working closely with clients, engineering teams, and project stakeholders. This role requires deep domain knowledge of rail systems engineering, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple interfaces Role accountabilities: Lead and manage the end-to-end rail systems design process including signalling, telecom, SCADA, train control, power supply, and other subsystems. Ensure integration of various rail systems with civil and structural designs across project stages (feasibility, preliminary, detailed). Facilitate design reviews, manage interfaces between disciplines and stakeholders, and ensure design compliance with relevant standards (e.g., CENELEC, EN, IEC, AREMA). Coordinate with client teams, independent reviewers, and certification bodies to secure design approvals and safety assurance. Lead risk assessments and design-related technical workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, RAMS, etc.). Ensure quality assurance and control processes are embedded throughout the design cycle. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Railway / Systems Engineering or equivalent. 12+ years of relevant experience in rail systems design and integration, with at least 5 years in design management role. Strong knowledge of signalling (conventional, CBTC, ETCS), telecoms, and control systems. Demonstrated capability in leading complex, multidisciplinary engineering teams on major rail infrastructure projects, including metro, light rail, and mainline systems. Strong familiarity with international rail design standards and codes of practice. Exceptional skills in coordination, communication, and stakeholder management across diverse project environments. Highlight any Engineering deliverable or items not within the scope and prepare for the technical details for variation order or Technical deviations through change management procedure Responsible for getting reviewed all documents prior to issuing for clients approval Prepare the Engineering Change request (ECR) and Co-ordinate with Engineering team lead for Engineering Change Order Approval (ECO) Active participation in HAZOP/HAZID studies associated with live projects where ever applicable Active participation in reviewing the technical details of vendor items, preparation of technical clarifications and technical bid evaluations. Provide remote support to SCM in the vendor selection based on Engineering and technical compliance Provide remote support to Production during fabrication, assembling and internal testing for any technical clarifications and details required Provide support to PM in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with Client, technical scope verification and preparation of punch list etc., Team leadership in terms of workload delegation and balancing, constructive feedback, training, coaching, mentoring, goals setting and time management. Full alignment to global engineering process / procedures and ensure the correct and standardized usage of the global systems (PDM and AX system) for all aspect of engineering as applicable. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management.
