For Tata Power Trading Company Ltd-

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and execution of Tata Powers

    EaaS strategy

    in India, aligned with the company's overall sustainability and growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement scalable

    market entry strategies

    , identifying key growth regions and tailoring EaaS offerings to local customer needs.
  • Build a long-term, profitable and impactful business model that complements the future market needs.
  • Establish and lead a

    lean, high-impact team

    focused on EaaS development and execution.
  • Ensure alignment with investor-developer approach in line with the organisational goals.
  • Drive

    short-term wins and long-term growth

    through strategic business development and deal origination.
  • Identify and develop a strong pipeline of

    commercial and industrial EaaS opportunities

    , including through joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Utilize proven technologies to deliver

    customized EaaS solutions

    covering power, cooling, heating, and energy efficiency.
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations and structure commercially and operationally robust agreements (SLAs, Performance contracts, etc.).
  • Build and maintain

    long-term customer relationships

    , ensuring value delivery, contract renewals, and opportunities for upselling.
  • Establish deep partnerships with

    technology providers, EPCs, local operators, advisors, and co-developers

    .
  • Strong connect in industry as well customer segments, awareness of trends for growth, competition and pricing.
  • Engage proactively with

    industry bodies, government regulators, and financial institutions

    , advocating for Tata Powers leadership in the energy transition.
  • Represent the company in strategic forums to promote

    sustainability, innovation, and energy resilience

    .
  • Responsible for business targets, opportunity funnel, hit rate, profitability

Preferred candidate profile

  • 10+ years

    of relevant experience, including a proven track record of delivering

    EaaS or integrated energy solutions

    in India or globally.
  • A

    Bachelors degree in Engineering

    , ideally coupled with a

    Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    or equivalent in Marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the energy value chain, especially customer-centric business models in

    C&I segments with demonstrated business results

  • Strong business acumen, financial expertise, and ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Certification towards energy modelling, HVAC, IOTs, Analytics, Software applications, Energy efficiency
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities in a

    fast-paced, evolving environment

    .
  • High empathy, customer orientation, and collaborative mind-set across cross-border teams.
