The successful candidates for this position will report to the Sr. Full Stack Development Lead and play a key role in executing and delivering well-tested code. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including core applications and customer-facing interfaces. Collaboration with a geographically distant team will be essential, where sharing insights to drive process improvements is a significant aspect of the role. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and tested code. You will drive the expansion of client suite Python and Ruby-based webservices, engineer scalable and secure APIs from deprecated legacy code, and actively seek out knowledge of new technologies to address current and future challenges. Close collaboration with the client product team and adherence to best practices such as continuous integration, SCRUM, and code standards will be expected. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of new technologies into design, work with AWS Serverless technologies, and ensure the scalability and security of APIs. Qualifications for this position include 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in Python development. Experience with web frameworks, such as Rails, Rack, or Django, and front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js is required. Demonstrated experience with AWS Services, web technologies, relational databases, version control systems like Git, Docker, testing libraries, and Linters are also essential.
