Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and professional Front Office Receptionist to join our team at Patliputra Hospital, a multi-super specialty and healthcare services provider in Dhanbad Jharkhand. As a Front Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, visitors and staff. You will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, such as greeting and registering patients, answering and transferring phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining records. You will also assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed. Job Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and respectful manner Register patients and verify their personal and insurance information Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or staff members Schedule and confirm appointments for patients and doctors Collect co-payments and other fees from patients and issue receipts Maintain and update patient records and files in the computer system Ensure the reception area is clean, organized and stocked with necessary supplies Handle patient complaints and inquiries in a professional and empathetic way Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Schedule: Morning shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Performance bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Dhanbad, Jharkhand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Medical receptionist: 1 year (Required) Language: English (Preferred)
