Front-End JavaScript Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Front-End JavaScript Developer with strong experience in Vue.js or React who is eager to expand their expertise into the Odoo Web Library (OWL) . This is a great opportunity to work on modern web applications, contribute to UI/UX design, and engage in the Odoo ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in developing interactive, user-centric applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain front-end components and features using JavaScript , HTML5 , and CSS3 . Design and implement reusable UI components using OWL . Migrate or adapt existing components into OWL as needed. Collaborate closely with back-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility in all UI implementations. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and usability. Stay up to date with front-end technologies and frameworks, especially related to Odoo development. Required Qualifications: 2–5+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML , and CSS/SASS . Hands-on experience with Vue.js or React in production-level applications. Understanding of component-based architecture and state management (Vuex, Redux, or similar). Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating them into front-end applications. Willingness and ability to learn OWL (Odoo Web Library) . Experience with Git, Agile workflows, and code review processes. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with OWL or working on Odoo-based projects. Knowledge of Python (used in Odoo backend). Familiarity with Odoo’s modular architecture and templating system. Understanding of performance optimization techniques and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, etc.). UX/UI design sensibility.
