Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers eager to kickstart their IT operations and security careers using

Splunk

, a powerful data analysis and monitoring tool. As a

Junior Splunk Engineer

, you will receive hands-on training and work with our experienced team to help monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and assist in configuring and managing
Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts
Support the
onboarding of new data sources
into Splunk
Understand and create
basic SPL (Search Processing Language)
queries
Assist in
monitoring application/system logs
and identifying anomalies or patterns
Collaborate with IT and Security teams to analyze incidents and provide insights
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve Splunk knowledge
Document Splunk processes and learning outcomes

Required Skills

Basic understanding of
IT infrastructure
, including servers, logs, and networks
Interest in
data analysis, system monitoring, or cybersecurity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn Splunk and other monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
Exposure to
Linux/Windows command line
Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Shell, or SQL) is a plus
Splunk Fundamentals 1 certification (optional but highly preferred)
